Vantage stores your journal database on your machine. We do not run a cloud-hosted trade-history dashboard. The app does still contact our services for entitlement checks, limited ops diagnostics, updater/release health, and optional sync/provider features.

We intentionally keep the desktop unlock model simple: buy, receive a license key, activate locally, and optionally connect supported broker/provider integrations. No separate Vantage website account is required.
macOS Security Protocol
The current public macOS build is still outside the App Store and not notarized yet, so macOS may block the first launch.
How to open: Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway. After that, the app should open normally on that machine.
